Nalanda School was started in the year 2017 with a view to provide the highest quality of education in Katni. The school is completely committed towards providing the best quality education. Our teachers are handpicked and trained in the latest techniques of teaching in order to provide international standard education. At Nalanda, we believe that education should stimulate thinking rather than learning. In line with this we provide practical, activity based teaching so that our pupils may grow into leaders of tomorrow.
We take special care in providing a nurturing environment for the pupils to excel and fulfill their potential. Our teachers treat every child as their own by providing impeccable care and affection. We stimulate Collaborative learning by encouraging our students to tackle complex problems by working as a team. General School Rules
- Parents are requested to see that their children reach school on time. School gate will be closed at 8:30 am sharp.
- Parents are requested not to visit school to meet their children during class hours, except in case of urgent necessity for which prior permission must be obtained from the Principal.
- Parents are requested to ensure that in case of non-attendance of their ward, hey must inform the school authorities in writing the same day.
- Parents are requested to communicate the change in phone numbers and residential address (along with proper documents) to school.
- Parents are requested not to send their wards suffering from infectious diseases like conjunctivitis, chicken pox etc.
- The school strictly forbids the following-
- Mobile phones (once confiscated will be school’s property till March 31, of the session.
- Self-driven vehicles (once caught, action deemed fit will be initiated)
- Bursting of crackers
- Any material containing tobacco/ anti-social activity.
- Foul language for anybody inside or outside the school
- Throwing colors on peers
- Stylish and colored hairstyles
- Palms/ Nails designed and decorated
- Valuable watches, jewelry items, video games, objectionable literature.
- Students will not be given permission to leave school during school hours
- Any damage to the school property, caused by negligence or deliberate mischief shall have to be compensated by the defaulter. The quantum of such damage shall be determined by the Principal for recovery of the loss.
- 75% attendance in academic session is compulsory. Parents must ensure that 75% attendance is mandatory for every student to be able to appear for the final examination.
- All students are to make good use of platforms created for your development.
Infrastructure
Our school provides one of the best infrastructures in Katni. The school has spacious and airy classrooms which makes the students comfortable and enhances their learning capabilities. We provide smart classes equipped with the latest touch screen boards that provide audio & visual learning aid and help the students in understanding various concepts. Computer lab with internet facility is available at the school campus that makes it easy for students to access online resources. Fully equipped Physics, Chemistry and bio labs are also available at the school premises. Our library has the latest resource material and books which is available to all. Students. Sanitary hygiene is of utmost importance and is taken care of by providing clean toilets, RO water purifiers, water coolers, dustbins etc.
